Joisting systems
Posi-Joist is a floor and roof system that combines lightweight timber with a strong Posi-Strut steel web, enabling much longer spans than traditional timber products. It offers exceptional design flexibility for domestic, commercial, and industrial buildings, allowing adaptable internal layouts within a fixed external structure. A key advantage is the clear floor zone, which provides easy access for installing and maintaining services. This makes Posi-Joist particularly well suited to modern requirements such as MVHR systems, offering a simple solution not achievable with solid timber joists.
Posi-Rafters
Our posi-rafters are stronger than solid timber rafters, enabling longer spans that require less internal support. They also offer greater thermal U values than solid timber rafters
Timber trusses kiln dried to export standard
Our timber roof trusses are kiln dried and stamped for phytosanitary approval if needed.
A prefabricated roof truss is a fully engineered structure delivering a safe, practical and versatile roofing solution. When compared with a traditionally built roof, prefabricated roof trusses will typically deliver considerable material savings often using 40% less timber.
Manufactured offsite in factory controlled conditions with MiTek Connector Plates, MiTek prefabricated roof trusses offer immense versatility. A wide variety of roof truss configurations allow for a huge range of different applications, such as room in the roof (Attic) trusses, raised ceiling trusses, and scissor trusses. Roof trusses can be manufactured in a wide range of timber sections, with larger sections allowing for big spans for a variety of commercial applications.
Ultraspan Steel roof trusses
Optimised Design for Strength and Efficiency: MiTek Ultra-Span trusses feature proprietary profiles engineered for maximum strength-to-weight performance, using less steel per metre. Supported by MiTek Pamir software, each design delivers precise load calculations and material efficiency tailored to specific project requirements.
Ease of assembly and installation: Ultra-Span trusses can be prefabricated or manufactured on-site for fast, accurate assembly. Large roof sections can be preassembled on the ground and lifted into place, making Ultra-Span a practical, efficient solution for large-span structures.
Crane assembly
Our large steel roofs are assembled on the ground and positiond with a crane.
